QUALIFICATIONSB.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering & Electro-Mechanical EngineeringPreferably with at least 3 years’ experience as Process/Product Engineer or equivalent in a high volume manufacturingStrong leadership skills and sense of accountabilityGood time management and strong communication skills, sense of teamwork and fast self-learning.Must be innovative and have a general creative flair and able to identify and act upon problem solving.Strong assembly fixtures, including auto, semi-auto and manual design experienceShould have a good understanding of machinery fabricationShould have a basic understanding of rapid prototyping techniques to expedite the fabrication of designs to support productionKnowledge of electrical control and pneumatics control is a plusAble to visualize in 3D and have the ability to learn Pro-E and its advanced moduleKnowledge of Pro/Engineer and Pro/Intralink/Windchill is a plusAble to communicate effectively and work with outside tooling suppliers to fabricate the tools he/she designsProject and team management experiences are favorableGood sense of initiative and can work with less supervisionGood Critical thinking and have good technical aptitudeMust be innovative and have general creative thinkingGood time management and decision making skillsCompensation is based on skills and qualificationsDUTIES AND RESPonSIBILITIESDevelop the concept or prototype of tooling/fixture/equipment/automation for internal activity order, complete the design of assembly, testing or inspection tooling/fixture/equipment/automation for acoustic products or other products of company.Improve/modify existing tooling.Complete the concept design with 3-D models for design review purposeConduct design review meetings to verify the concept with the aid of 3-D models vs. the requirements together with colleagues in design, AME or other departmentsComplete the detailed design drawings for the fabricated tooling, fixtures, equipment, or automationMake sure that the completed tooling/fixture/equipment/automation will meet the intended purposes for product assembly, testing, or inspection as designed.Support the fabrication suppliers or internal tool makers to complete the tooling fabrication successfully.Complete engineering reports to document the technical findings and achievements.
