Responsibilities:
·Responsible for planning, scheduling, monitoring and control for Hardware projects
·Lead development of hardware systems for test and measurement applications
·Create hardware project design specifications
·Conduct hardware design and PCB layout reviews for quality assurance
·Work closely with PCB, Assembly and Software Development Groups as well as Japan designers to meet target specification and schedule
·Supervise and provide technical support to Hardware members
·Creates improvements to Hardware development processes
·Write technical documents for projects and share know-how
Requirements:
·BS or MS in Electronics Engineering
·With at least 5 years experience in hardware design/development
·Experience in analog circuit design using op-amps, regulators, level shifters, ADC, DAC and microcontrollers
·Know-how in test and measurement instruments (power supplies, digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc.)
·Experience in PCB design
·Must be able to indicate special layout considerations such as low current, high voltage, low noise, sensitive signals and high speed layout considerations.
·Skills in using any CAD tools but preferably EAGLE, ORCAD or Allegro.
·Experience in FPGA/CPLD development is an advantage
·Knowledge in programming (C, C++, Assembly or any language) is an advantage
· Must have proven experience as a supervisor and must possess outstanding leadership values
·Above average oral and written communication skills. Japanese Language skills is an advantage but not a requirement
·Must be willing to work on site
