I. Job Purpose
Responsible for the design and drafting of electrical construction layouts and diagrams.
II. Key Outputs
1. Project Lead
1.1. Ensure the company’s Quality Management System and related design and documentation procedures are implemented in all phases of project execution.
2. Engineering and Design
2.1. Responsible for the design and drafting of electrical drawings for Power & Control Layout, Lighting Layout, Grounding Layouts, and other deliverables ensuring clarity, completeness, and minimal errors in design output and compliance to project specifications, man-hour budget, and schedule.
2.2. Responsible for the drafting of design deliverables such as Single Line Diagrams, Hazardous Area Classification layout, Substation layout, Distribution Plans, Motor Schematic Diagrams, Interconnection Diagrams, Riser Diagrams, Installation Details, Cable Tray / Conduit Routing Layout, Auxiliary Systems, and other design deliverables.
2.3. 3D modeling of cable tray, electrical equipment, and other electrical works.
2.4. Prepares material take-off for electrical works.
3. Others
3.1. Ensure that the company’s Administrative, Human Resources, and Safety rules and regulations are followed at all times.
3.4. Performs other related tasks that may be assigned by the immediate superior.
III. Minimum Qualifications
1. Education and Registration:
1.1. Graduate of Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, or related courses.
2. Experience:
2.1. At least 4 years of solid Electrical design and drafting experience for Oil and Gas, Petrochemical, Power, and other process-related industrial plants or facilities.
3. Skills and Knowledge:
3.1. Use of 2D and 3D design software such as AutoCAD, Microstation, PDMS, and/or E3D and similar software. Knowledgeable in MS Office.
4. Other requirements:
4.1. Good interpersonal and communication skills.
4.2. Willing to work extended hours as per project requirements.
4.3. Available for field assignments locally and/or overseas.
