Duty 1: Metrics, Reporting and Analytics

Data Gathering

Extracts/generates quantitative information from a single or multiple Business Intelligence Tools (i.e.: Data Warehouse, Oracle, OBI, JDE, Report2Web, Vendavo, Tableau, Power BI, Pipefy etc.)Communicates with resource person to get input/raw data needed for report generation from different world areasConducts research to gather sales data information from internal & external sources that will be used for analysis

Data Manipulation

Cleans extracted data using pre-defined guidelines or instructionsFormats extracted data based on expected report output (with batching capability)Calculates data using available fields within the gathered information (basic math)Formats extracted data based on expected report output (multiple data formatting requirements)Categorizes and segments extracted data using tools to convert data to information relevant to the report (excel, macro, database)Consolidates and standardizes data structure from different data sourcesCombines extracted data from multiple resources using automated tools (excel, macro, database)Calculates data using available fields within the gathered information (statistics)

Data Analysis

Gathers and analyzes report requirements from stakeholders. Identifies and provides solution to general inquiries.Analyzes gathered information & data using descriptive analytics (basic mathematics & comparative analysis)Analyzes stakeholder requirements from an existing report and provides improvement and recommendation based on customer requestAnalyzes gathered information & data using diagnostic analytics (root cause analysis, gap analysis)evaluates objectives and recommends non-standard reports/workaround based on customer requirement

Reports/Dashboard Creation and Distribution

Creates reports based on standard templates (MS Excel, MS Access)Creates and tests dynamic reports based on the designed format (Power BI)Creates new report types, data visuals and dashboards using Business Intelligence Software like Power BIDesigns dashboard visuals based on stakeholders’ requirementsEnsures timely update of dataProvides access to users and defines permission levelDistributes approved reports to stakeholders

Database Creation and Maintenance

Creation of new and complex database that pulls data from various data warehousesDesigns query, logics and calculation based on report requirements

Product and Sales Analysis

Coordinates with the supplier/factory/other support group to obtain product and service sales data.Escalates inquiries to application engineers, order entry teams and BI TeamsEscalates sales data issues to appropriate support groupValidates sales data using system toolsGathers sales data per brand and world area (local currency) from different data warehousesAnalyzes and cleanses sales data itemsAnalyzes and conducts basic troubleshooting of data warehousesAnalyzes and recommends alternative options for data analysis methods usedCommunicates issues/concerns to POC regarding results of AnalysisIdentifies and resolves sales data related issues with customers and manufacturing sites

Duty 2: Project Support

Continuous Process & Innovation

Identifies continuous improvement project ideasRecords and reviews/assesses the improvement/innovation raised by the business unitTakes pro-active responsibilities in dealing with customersPerforms research and analysis to validate if the detailed solution is the best fit to meet the requirements

Project Initiation

Attends scope reviews to learn what the project request is all aboutAssists project owner in gathering, analyzing and clarifying customer requirements; uses technical knowledge to gauge complexity of the request

Project Planning

Creates documentation using standard project templates; stores and organizes the documents to the team’s repositoryPerforms research and analysis to validate if the detailed solution is the best fit to meet the requirements

Project Execution

Reports own progress back to the project tracking tool and stakeholdersParticipates in cross-functional testing and peer reviews

Project Testing

Sets up UAT (informing participants, scheduling, gathering results)Creates user manuals using standard templates of the teamCreates test cases to be used during UAT

Duty 3: Training and Development

Training Material Development

Updates/revises training syllabi, course outlines, lesson plans, and content of existing materials (e.g. presentations, evaluation tools, etc.) for assigned training coursesAdapts training syllabi, course outlines, lesson plans and content of existing materials (e.g. presentations, evaluation tools, etc.) for assigned training courses for specific audience/scenarioCreates/Authors content of training materials (e.g. presentations, evaluation tools, etc.) for new courses/programs

Training Execution

Conducts basic overview and awareness training on processes and/or business toolsConducts intermediate and comprehensive training on processes and business tools

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor of Science degree in any business-related fields

Job Related Experience: Four and a half (4.5) years experience in data mining, manipulation, analysis and reporting

Specific Knowledge:

Microsoft OfficeData Manipulation & InterpretationRoot Cause / Gap AnalysisProduct datasheets, price lists, manuals & catalogs

Skills:
