Job Summary:
Responsible for generating more prospective clients/accounts and sales opportunities.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Account Development
1.1 Continuously search for new accounts and ensures that targets are met.
1.2 Sells all products (part of the existing assortment of all banners, Gift Certificates, and Christmas Baskets) or package of products and services to corporate/institutional accounts.
1.3 Cross-sell and promotes other products and services from affiliate companies (i.e. sale of Christmas Baskets packaged with free TV from RA).
1.4 Participates in trade fairs, networking events, and biddings in order to broaden connections and increase prospect/target market referrals.
2. Account Management
2.1. Accreditation of corporate accounts (initiated accounts from Head Office and Stores) following existing standard procedures.
2.2 Develops sustainable account servicing (i.e. regular sales calls) to both new and existing accounts based on a pre-approved strategy roadmap.
2.3 Ensures the efficient servicing of account orders by coordinating the order processing and fulfillment with all stakeholders such as Store Operations, Merchandising SPIC, Distribution Centers, Treasury, and Finance.
2.4 Monitors customer/client buying habits, identifies specific needs/requirements of corporate/institutional accounts, and provides cost-efficient solutions.
2.5 Ensures 100% compliance to customer service standards.
2.6 Conducts customer need analysis to identify areas for improvement.
2.7 Handles customer complaints and after sales concerns effectively.
3. Gross Margin & Collection
3.1 Ensures achievement of target gross margin through proper usage of discount schemes.
3.2 Develops pricing strategy (in close coordination with Merchandising) for bulk purchases of corporate/institutional accounts.
3.3 Monitors timely and complete collection of receivables from corporate/institutional accounts.
