Job Description

The primary function of this position will be to support strategize and develop, lead in deployment, and maintain a wide variety of human resources initiatives, activities, and programs for the employees particularly in the areas of effective employee engagement methodologies, and issues-based resolution and other process improvements impacting employee morale.

Lead in the delivery of HR employee engagement, labour relations strategy, social responsibility actions and compliance to facilitate the attainment of business objectives while driving functional excellence.

The key responsibilities will include:

Perform all job functions with adherence to Eaton Philosophy, Values and Eaton Leadership ModelFacilitate and ensure proper deployment and completion of hourly performance managementprocess and other related programs on measuring plant performance Lead and improve in the review, development and implementation of company policies, and procedures and maintain facilities in the interpretation of the employee guidebookProvide advice & guidance to management and employees on employment issues including company policy & procedures, terms of employment, and legislationPartner with department managers and act as a consultant of supervisors/staff on employee relations and other people-related issuesConducts investigations on employee cases and ensures maintain balance and fairness in the whole processProvide input and evaluate processes to improve HR operational excellence, including Eaton Business System (EBS)Lead in the deployment of employee engagement programs, overall wellness and support in measuring the effectiveness of the initiativesLead the Eaton HR people processes deployment for hourly personnel i.e., performance management, frequent conversations, employee development, employee engagementOrganize Eaton global employee survey and coordinate action planning and follow upCreates a sound working environment and culture through communication meetings/channels, employee activity and team buildingSupport in the study and analysis of key metrics, implications, and actions items and/or improvementsPartner with the HR leader in the HR Operating Review and local compliance audits, external representations (i.e., DOLE, AFLI, RTIPC, ECOP)Partner with the HR Leader in the development, assessment, and execution of employee/labour relations initiatives Lead/Support in the development of corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs and in coordination with the industrial park’s external affairsCoordinate and conduct recruiting efforts in compliance with all required regulations.Assist in new employee orientation for all employees, as facilitator/trainerProvide assistance and feedback as necessary related to both work and non-work-related illness and injuryLead/Assist as a trainer in the deployment of mandatory courses; conducts training needs analysis and provides inputs in the overall training planDrive continual improvements in the areas of responsibility that would drive cost savings and overall efficiency without compromising employee morale and engagement

If you have/are:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources is required or any business-related course. Post-grad is an advantageMinimum of 10 years experience performing HR Generalist activities in a manufacturing environment and in a fast-paced work environmentThorough experience in developing and administering policies and procedures in a complex and multi-national organization, advantageIn-depth knowledge of the General Labor Standards and other employment related regulatory compliance requirementsPosition requires knowledge of all processes in the plant as well as a functional understanding of each support department, exposure to a matrix organization, advantageKnowledge of labor laws and other regulations that impacts employmentKnowledge on general compensation and benefits principles and methodologiesSignificant exposure to HR field through education, direct experience and other exposureGood communication skills - oral and writtenInterpersonal and intrapersonal skills
