Position Title: Accounting Technical Specialist (Work from home)

This natural leader acts as the key advisor to map both company and client needs to align deliverables with Stride's operational and technical processes.
POSITION DEscriptION:
The position of the Accounting Technical Specialist is responsible for supporting all areas of Operations, Client Services and Business Development teams with respect to technical resolution and advancements. The role requires a solid understanding of accounting principles, a high level of technical accounting software knowledge, strong client support and communication skills, and the desire to continue to refine those skills.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
The following is not an all-inclusive list and additional duties may be assigned as necessary:
● Own the outcome of a help desk ticket portal with timely resolution
● Lead on client implementation system setups leveraging standardized best practices
● Demonstrate a deep understanding of QBO and Bill.com to provide strategic guidance
● Use effective communication to provide support for internal and external clients
● Assess technological solutions, presenting options with pros-cons
● Provide strength in QBD to QBO conversions with proficiency in audit and reconciliation
● Perform balance sheet historical clean up through audit and reconciliations
● Collaborate with BOSS team on effective system user security architect
● Identify opportunities for process efficiencies through automation
● Be creative. Figure out how to overcome obstacles to achieve the desired output.
● Collaborate with others to identify process efficiencies through automation
● Champion projects, overseeing logistics by delegating tasks, enforcing deadlines.

TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years full charge accounting experience in a multi-client environment
QBO, Bill.com, and other third-party accounting platforms
Experience with QBD to QBO conversions
Deep understanding of the operating capabilities of QBO and Bill.com
Familiarity with sub-ledger systems with ability to self-teach for resolution
Experience with operating best practices related to AR, AP, and MEC functions
Communicate effectively to ensure a great experience for non-technical customers
High level of general computer knowledge; comfortable learning new programs/tools
Proficiency in work management tools like Asana, Connectwise, Autotask a PLUS.
Comfortable working in a virtual, paperless environment
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This position is full time remote.
Active Member of the Back Office Support Team (BOSS).
You will work from the location that gives you energy.
All team members set a regular schedule that generally corresponds to PAC time.
You will use your own equipment, which should include high-speed internet, PC with Windows 7 or
newer and MS Office, webcam with microphone and speakers, and phone.
