The Role
As a Credit Risk Portfolio Reviewer, you will review the retail credit portfolio of the Bank to determine credit quality and credit process quality and to support the Bank's credit risk-taking activities on the wholesale side by providing the business and credit decision-makers with information on the strengths and weaknesses of the bank's existing portfolio.
How you'll contribute
Gather, interpret and analyze complex financial, market, and credit information using knowledge of the Bank's credit policies and standards and industry and market data to come up with a judgment on the quality of the individual and portfolio credit exposures.Gather, interpret and analyze credit processes undertaken on sample accounts using knowledge of the Bank's credit policies and standards to come up with a judgment on the credit process quality of the business unit, Relatio
nship managers, and credit support units.Re-rate individual credits using the Bank's underwriting standards and ECL model to determine the status or migration of an account's credit quality.Identify and assess critical risks (including concentrations) as well as opportunities ba
sed on the Bank's risk appetite and strategic direction for business building or recovery strategy formulation.Recommend policy and process changes through the Business Risk Review exercise prescribed in the Credit Policy Manual to support the business in its risk-taking activities.Co

What we’re looking for
Bachelor's Degree in any fieldAt least 2 years of relevant experience as an industry researcher or industry analyst, preferably in energy, power, or real estateSolid credit experience. SAS experience is a must.Highly analytical, probing, and critical thinker.Independent-minded. Can see beyond what is written in the proposals and in-house data. Can work under minimum supervision. Co
