The Role
As a Credit Policy and Methods Officer, you will formulate credit policies and guidelines for consumer loans of the Bank to serve as a guide and reference for stakeholders in the good performance of their respective functions relative to consumer lending. You will also ensure that these are updated, suitable to the requirements of the existing set-up, and aligned with regulatory rules and policies to be able to fully contribute to the attainment of overall objectives/goals of the Bank.

sed on the request of stakeholders and as a result of relevant impacting factors such as, but not limited to market competition, trends and development in technology, change in the Bank's organizatio
nal structure, systems, set-up, process, and overall goals, and update in regulatory policies, to keep the stakeholders well-informed and best guided towards proper and smooth implementation or handling of loans and related transactions.Ensure that all requests and queries from other units/departments and branches are attended to and fulfilled immediately and accurately within the agreed SLA to promote the best customer experience.Co
nvey to the stakeholders the PM processes in a clear and logical flow to avoid back-and-forth communication which lessens the turnaround time to complete the request initiated by them.Present information clearly and adjust the style and co

nduct research and survey using the internet or structured banking-related interview to gather information from external sources - involving entities, such as but not limited to: competitor banks for industry-benchmarking purposes; or regulatory agencies such as but not limited to the Housing and Land Use Regulatory Board (HLURB), Land Transportation Office (LTO) and Bureau of Immigration (BI)-for the checking of the Bank's compliance to certain regulatory processes to preclude violation and the updating of its checklist of requirements to ensure the co
nstant relevance of the Bank's prescribed docu
mentation.Identify the need for innovating the Policy and Method team processes by providing valuable recommendations, presenting structured action plans in transforming ideas into an initiative to ensure that the services catered to the stakeholders are efficient and adjust to the changing timesManage dealings with various units of the Bank in line with their independent assessment of credit policies and processes to ensure their uniform understanding/interpretation and implementation of the sameEnsure delivery of tasks is strictly observed so that projects are accomplished and delivered on time and no small details are overlooked.Manage performance of o
