JOB SUMMARY:
The Legal Counsel for Special Projects primary function and responsibility is to advise on the legality and legal effects of the various transactions and activities entered into by the different companies of the conglomerate. It is his/her responsibility to ensure that Filinvest would be in a favourable legal position in terms of its rights and obligations.

PUBLIC BIDDING AND SPECIAL PROJECTS
Handling of various co
nfidential transactions that would require negotiations and dealings with various government agencies and stakeholders (e.g. Crimson Boracay Issues on permits and clearances)Preparation of docu
ments and provision of legal advice on the application for special permits or unsolicited proposals with the natio
nal or local governmentEnsure compliance with applicable guidelines, preparation of appropriate queries for submission, and partake on the formulation of strategies on how to approach certain issues
CORPORATE ADVISORY
Provide both legal advice and Inputs on practical results co
ncerning varied queries of the different departments of the companyDevelop guidelines on policies to be implemented in dealing with similar legal situations (e.g. release of unclaimed commissions for deceased brokers/sellers; purchase of lots by minors)Attend meetings to address risks and issues encountered in day-to-day operations, including the management of buyers and residents in the different projects
