Job Summary:Responsible for ensuring that targets insurance premiums, commission, profitability, penetration and persistency are met through the implementation of business development initiatives, marketing programs and processes/ procedures from quotation/ proposal generation, placements, booking, client servicing and administration accounts while ensuring that bank risks are covered at all times.Responsibilities:1. Business Development • Coordinate with insurers in accrediting them to the program; enhancing existing packages and obtaining best possible rates and benefits for new ones; ensuring that SLA in service delivery is met • Coordinate and maintain good working relationships with bank counterparts to broker services and solutions for the existing base and other untapped base/s as applicable; understand and help find solutions to service issues • Identify markets and opportunities in the existing base and other possible bank client base; develop and implement strategies for these client bases • Ensure that targets in premiums, commissions, profitability are met • Cross-sells other insurance products to increase productions2. Administrative • Manage teams including the overseeing and supervision of day to day activities • Consistently monitor processes and results, identify areas for improvement, and document and implement process improvements, including any required system enhancement • Ensure that brokering and operational procedures are followed, including those related to the Unit’s function as written in PPCs and company policies and procedures3. People Development • Appraise/ coach/ counsel individual and team performance on a periodic and mandatory basis4. Others • Performs other related duties as may be assigned by immediate superior or senior management from time to time • Assists the Unit Head in planning, leading, organizing and allocating team resources and monitoring deliverablesMust be willing to work on-site in ORTIGAS.
