A. Purpose and Scope The RAFI Micro-finance Area Manager is responsible for functions/tasks/activities related to the supervision of branch operations, program and policy administration, customer service, staffing and people management, and achievement of operational and financial targets B. ResponsibilitiesConducts scheduled and unscheduled visits and surprise checks in branches assigned to ensure compliance to operating guidelines, rules and regulations and standard operating procedures;Performs loan supervision visits and loan utilization checks for loan amounts exceeding the Branch Manager’s authority or lower (on a case-to-case basis) to protect the quality of loan accounts;Monitors past due level, follow-up collections and ensures that these are kept to a minimum;Promotes and monitors client retention status and continually assists the branch to ensure realization of operational targets;Reviews reports prepared by the branches and ensures accuracy, reliability and timely submission thereof;Recommends actions/revisions to policies and procedures, strategies and work flows to improve staff efficiency and service delivery;Ensures adequate staffing of people in the branch and provides continuous guidance, nurturing and mentoring of personnel reporting to him/her;Promotes free exchange of information leading to increased trust and partnership among clients, staff and Management.Performs other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time. Qualifications:The Area Manager should be a degree-holder of a Business Management or a Commerce course.The Area Manager must have at least Three (3) year experience in supervising operations, achieving operational and financial targets and programPreferably with Banking Operation experience.Willing to travelWilling to be assigned in Negros Occidental and Panay Area
