DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The PROJECT ASSOCIATE shall directly report to the company’s Project Officer and the Chief Operating Officer. The PROJECT ASSOCIATE shall:
Co
nvert physical maps into a digital form for computer usage;Analyze spatial data through the use of ArcGIS and detect spatial patterns and trends;Produce digital maps with geographic data and other data sources in order to show spatial distribution of various kinds of data;Create shapefiles to merge topographical data with external data by layering external data over a topographical map;Perform data munging and cleaning to co
nvert data into its desired form;Produce reports on geographic data utilizing data visualizations;Manage a digital library of geographic maps in various file types;Provide guidance to client/s and other stakeholders on mapping issuesCoordinate with relevant agencies for to obtain and validate data, as necessary;Support site visits to accomplish the following: (a) data collection and validation; (b) review of existing relevant plans and studies; and (c) review, check, and docu
ment progress of project implementation;Facilitate, arrange, and participate in consultations, meetings, and workshops, as required;Provide advisory and technical inputs in the preparation and co
nduct of information, education, and communication (IEC) campaigns, public consultations, workshops, and other events as needed;Assist in the preparation of reports, powerpoint presentations, progress reports, briefing notes, and other outputs as needed;Liaise and represent the company in meetings, seminars, and fora as deemed necessary;Perform other related duties as assigned and deemed necessary by the Project Officer, Chief Operating Officer, or any authorized officer of Envia Consultancy, Inc.
