1. Identifies and accommodates patient needs upon arrival.
2. Assess patients through triage screening, getting patient vital signs and chief complaints.
3. Assists the Dentist and patient during the procedure.
4. Responsible for infection control by sterilizing and disinfecting instruments, setting up instrument trays, preparing materials
for dental procedures.
5. Responsible for approval of dental procedures to HMO provider.
7. Manage patient's appointment and encode patient's information.
8. Anticipate Doctor's needs and prepare all documents and materials needed by the Dentist.
9. Responsible in dental inventory and ensuring that the dental supplies are complete.
10. Monitors and records daily census.
11. Ensures that the patient will understand the HMO policy and procedure.
12. Confirms that the patient will understand the dental procedures to be done.
13. Responsible for keeping, organizing, and updating patient charts.
14. Answers telephone calls and dental inquiries.
15. Thoroughly checks patient forms and ensures that all necessary details are correct and complete.
16. Verify if the HMO forms have been signed by the doctors with the diagnosis.
17. Performs other related duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications:
Graduate of Dentistry, Nursing, Dental Hygiene or equivalent
With at least a year of relevant experience
