The Role

As an Operations & Special Projects Officer, you are responsible for the disposition and/or validation of audit issues and submission of reportorial requirements of his/her assigned Division. Performs special reviews and investigations and recommends improvements in audit procedures whenever necessary.

How you'll contribute

Collaborate with concerned Audit Teams and Division heads for the disposition and validation of issues.Collaborate with AGO for any reportorial requirements.Identify processes wherein data analytics can be applied and coordinate the same with the concerned IS Audit team for development and implementation.Conduct special reviews and investigations whenever necessaryEnsure timely reporting or elevation of critical matters or concerns to Audit ManagementMonitor incidences and fraud cases both internal and external and implement necessary changes in audit procedures in coordination with the Division Heads.Ensure those audit procedures are updated based on new Regulatory requirements and best practices/standardsEnsure that issues raised by the Audit Quality Assurance Officer are timely addressed

What we’re looking for

 5 - 10 years of related experience in Audit & Taxation, Banking, and Financial Preferably a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CIA Bachelor's Degree in Audit & Taxation, Banking, and FinancialGood understanding of banking operations and governing laws and regulations in the areas being assigned.
