Job Description

Job Objective / Purpose

The Health and Wellness Officer is responsible for:

Planning and executing health and wellness programs for RelianceUnited’s key executives, employees and its subsidiaries to promote and nurture wellness in the company. Setting up and managing the company’s corporate clinic as Reliance Corporate Nurse.Delivering relevant health and wellness training programs (and the like) to employees and to corporate clients and partners, where needed.

Reporting / Working Relationships

The position belongs to the HR Department of RCI. The Health and Wellness Officer directly reports to the HR Manager of RCI handling Total Rewards and indirectly to the Medical Director (for Medical / Functional direction).

This is an individual contributor role.

The position will also work with the Senior Leadership Team, Leadership Team, and other teams such as Clinic Operations, Clinic Management, Wellness, Occupational Health & Safety etc.

Duties and Responsibilities

Implementation of Reliance Health and Wellness Programs 

Plan, set up and execute health and wellness annual calendar of programs and events for different employee groups based on provided resourcesOwn the health and wellness metrics of the company through strict monitoring and reporting of employee health checks. Establish an understanding of baseline scores and partner with employees to achieve healthier status.Develop and manage customized health and wellness programs for identified key personnel with certain health conditions (e.g. chronic illnesses such as cardiac disorders, diabetes, etc)

Corporate Nurse of RelianceUnited and Subsidiaries

Set up and manage the company’s corporate clinic, including but not limited to processes, equipment, supplies, data, etc Manage employee health records across RCI, ensuring highest levels of legal compliance, e.g. Data Protection Manage Health Screening Platform such as but not limited to BizBox, MedPass and MedbaseManage Pre-employment Medical Exam (PEME) of Head Office employees and liaise with HealthFirst Clinics, candidates, and HR for the scheduling, processing, releasing of results and clearance follow up for employees with medical findings.Manage Head Office Annual Physical Exam (APE) process, compliance and results of the company and ensure follow through health interventions, working closely with concerned employees.Prepare Annual Work Accident/Illness Exposure Data Report and other reports required by DOLE in accordance with the OSH Reporting RequirementsManage Infection Prevention Control (IPC) processes, technology and relevant reporting for Reliance United (e.g. Telemed hotline, Antigen testing, flu vaccination)Carry out responsibilities as a member of the Health and Safety Committee under Rule 1040 of the OSH Standards 2017.Ensure high quality corporate clinic services and readiness as a showcase clinic to corporate clients

Health and Wellness Trainings

Plan and execute Health & Wellness annual learning / training calendar for target audienceMonitor, report, and ensure compliance to identified learning programs and coordinate with the Learning and Development team for data capture and analysis.Design and/or deliver relevant Health and Wellness learning / training programs for employees, business partners, and clients, as needed.

Background and Qualifications

Registered Nurse with active licenseWith Basic Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH) Training under OHNAP, Basic Life Support (BLS) and First Aid Training At least 3 years of experience in managing corporate health & wellnessKnowledgeable in DOLE Annual Work Accident/Illness Exposure Data Reporting Requirements Strong verbal and written communications skillsSolid understanding of health & wellness metrics and capability to plan and execute health & wellness programs across the company, including subsidiaries and multiple employee categories and levels.Solid understanding of various types of employee work conditions as an input to health & wellness programsMust display RCI Competencies / Pillars of Excellence: Leadership, Management, Functional, and Communication Must display corporate values of Bayanihan and Husay at MalasakitHighest level of work standards and ethicsProficiency in Google Suite (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Forms, Slide)
