Universal Robina Corporation is looking for an Equity Treasury Analyst.
The Equity Treasury Analyst is responsible for assisting the Treasury Corporate Finance Manager in crafting and strategizing medium to longer term liquidity plan of the company. This role will include cash flow forecasting, valuation analysis, risk management analysis and capital structuring, to name a few. He or she may, from time to time, act as the back-up to the Corporate Finance Manager. On a more strategic front, he/she may be called to participate or contribute in preparing the consolidated monthly and yearly liquidity forecast for both the Philippines and URC International. He/She will directly report to the Corporate Finance Manager and will interact with the VP-Treasurer, SVP-CFO, and the rest of the Treasury Management Team in planning the liquidity/funding strategy for URC.
What are the Roles and Responsibilities?
1.Cash Management Function
a. Assist in the current and future process improvement initiatives related to cash/fund management including, but not limited to, account sweeping and cash concentration, EFT and EBS.
b. Ensures that long term and major funding requirements are funded in the most cost efficient and timely manner.
c. Prepares and reviews the following reports in a timely manner and ensures that reports are submitted to the rest of the Treasury Management Team and JGSHI Leadership Team

2. Financial and Planning Function
a. based on approved OPEX and CAPEX Budget for all companies/business units, assist the Corporate Finance Manager in preparing the annual cashflow financing plan, to determine:
Forecasted free cash position – as reference for acquisition of needed funds (in case of negative free cash) and/or disposition of excess funds (in case of positive cash balance)Estimated mo
nthly fund requirement to fund OPEX and CAPEX payments. Coordinates on a regular basis with all propo
nents on the planned execution period of all CAPEX items to firm up projected cash requirement.Mo
nitor and track Capital Allocation thresholds.
b. Assist in the trending and variance analysis between the financing plan and the actual cash movements, in reference to:
Measurements of the companies/business units meeting their approved budgetsRecalculating/recalibrating the financing plan, including succeeding year’s plan.
3. Administrative Functions
a. Acts as the back-up to the Corporate Finance Manager in matters relating to strategic Treasury work.
b. Assist the Corporate Finance Manager in other functional and administrative matters relating to the Corporate Finance group.
c. Assist in the change process in the Corporate Finance Department as we transition from a manual to an automated process.
d. Identify opportunities for process improvement in the disposition of Corporate Finance’s function.
e. Ensures that functions and processes adhere to policy and that controls are in place to protect the company from franchise and financial risk.

nal Attainment: BSC-Accounting (preferable), BSC-Management, BSC-Finance or any business related courseExperience Needed: At least 5 years work experience in related fieldHigh analytical skill and can handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.High integrity and can handle work pressure.Highly motivated, result oriented and trustworthy.Possess good leadership skills, who will be able to communicate well with people at all levels both internally and externally with a talent of supervision and administration.Must possees “Work outside of the box” mindset.Must be able to work and adapt quickly in a fluid/changing work environment.Quick to understand and tweak financial models when neededFamiliarity with capital markets and investment instruments a plus.
