Into Finance and Accounting, Transaction Quality Control is part of the OTC structure that requires talented individuals to review OTC processes, report out gaps and work on corrective actions thereon. We need people with diversified knowledge in the Ocean business, so they understand upstream and downstream aspects of the processes they are given to monitor.
Key Responsibilities
1) Perform quality audits of transactions processed by OTC/AR/upstream teams which hits the customer ledger.
2) Maintain adequate documentation of quality checks performed.
3) Seek clarification from the processing team in case of no-adherence to policy/SOP.
4) Highlight and escalate cases which are non-compliant with policy/SOP.
5) Prepare periodic reports and dashboard to build required governance and controls.
Who we are looking for
Minimum Requirements (Qualifications/Experience/Capabilities)
1) Bachelor’s degree in Commerce/Finance/Accounting
2) Min 3-8 yrs. experience (Direct customer contact, service, collections and with commercial experience preferred)
3) Excel in MS Excel & PowerPoint presentation
4) In-depth understanding of end to end OTC cycle and B2B Collections
5) Proficient in AR systems and processes
6) Excellent Verbal & Written communication & Soft Skills (Email etiquettes)
7) Team Player & Self Motivated Person
6) Understanding of SCM or wider knowledge of overall Ocean business
Skill set and experience required:
1) Understand overall Shipping industry, AR & OTC process and upstream and downstream process impacts
2) Able to identify and provide suggestions on how to fix the gaps within the process
3)Basic understanding of quality audits/controls at transaction level
4) Good analytical skills & eye for details
