Senior Data Analyst

The Role

As a Senior Data Analyst, you will be responsible for designing and executing various initiatives to meet the business goals of a specific product within the bank's retail business. You will take end-to-end ownership, from analyzing vast amounts of data to translating it into insights, to creating outputs that have a direct impact on the bank's bottom line.

How you'll contribute

Works with the Customer Analytics Department Head to continuously challenge and improve existing strategies, and ideate new strategies to grow new business and portfolio of retail business.Can do and perform simple and complex analytical projects which involve rigorous statistical analysis in support of recommended strategies.Works with the Customer Analytics Department Head and business team in initiating and/or supporting analytical project requests from ideation, proposing the appropriate analysis/methodology, providing data-driven results and insights, and recommending initiatives/test programs/campaigns for implementation.Liaises with various business and technical teams to implement strategies and/or initiated campaigns.Sees how recommended strategies may impact bank-wide performance.Perform ad-hoc analysis for Retail Business Team.

What we’re looking for

Bachelor's degree in Mathematics/Statistics, Economics, Finance/Accountancy/Banking, Industrial, Computer Science/Information TechnologyAt least 3 years experience in Banking and Financial, Actuarial/Statistics/Data ScienceWorking knowledge of data analytics tools such as SAS, R, and PythonDeep understanding of retail banking businessSkilled in data-driven analysis with an emphasis on RetailWith strong analytics skills with a focus on pragmatismExcellent time management skillsAble to deliver results across multiple projects in parallelA self-initiated learner with strong intellectual curiosity and creativityStrong Communication Skills
