The Product Development Engineer/R&D Engineer lead the development of new product from raw materials development to product development. Also responsible to review and improve existing packaging designs. This role develops, designs, and tests standards and guidelines for developing packaging solutions for the organization’s products. Also responsible to collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to achieve functional development goals.

We are looking for a passionate and talented R&D professional with the ability to work independently and proactively and manage project stream completion across functional and business unit lines.

Degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Polymer Science, or other related area is preferred5+ years of experience with demonstrated progressive success in a technical capacity within a global manufacturing environment.

·        Experience in product development and/or R&D.

Operational Excellence

Lead the development of new product from end-to-end process.Work closely with operations to ensure that the new processes for implementation are reviewed and effective.  Work closely with operations in achieving the correct quantity of waste during development.Working with our quality management systems to ensure that new specifications are reviewed and updated.Review customer requirements and making sure they are met.Work closely with the supplier and customer on different stages of product development.Develop product training programs for the co -workersEstablish standards and guidelines for supplier evaluation. evaluate and select packaging suppliers/vendors; periodically conduct vendor reviews.
