Responsibilities:

Develop and conduct experimental studies with the insects in controlled or natural surroundings.Collect and analyze biological data and specimensStudy the characteristics of insects, including interactions with the other species and their environment, reproduction, population dynamics and diseases and movement patterns.Research, initiate and maintain breeding programs for insects.Inspect all areas of the brand facilities to determine the presence of pests (vertebrate and invertebrate) and determine the sequence of treatment necessary; exterminate pests such as ants, roaches, flies and termites; trap animals such as rats and rats; remove live and dead animals such as cats and dogs from inside ceiling, walls, and sub areas of store/plant property.Train, and supervise assigned personnel in methods of pest eradication and destruction; evaluate the quantity and quality of the work performed.evaluate the work and report discrepancies to superiors.Estimate time, materials and personnel needed for pest treatment at a site; confer with administrators and other personnel to schedule optimum time for pesticide treatment.Make minor building repairs and request major repairs be made to prevent or control infestation by pests.Operate power spray equipment to apply chemical treatments at sites. Maintain records of inspections and treatments.Work closely and cooperate with personnel from other departments having inspection and major repairs in the facility.Test and evaluate new chemicals, methods and equipment and recommend those best suited to stores/plants.Make presentations training to store personnel (store managers and staff) to advise them on the purpose, hazards and safety of pesticide treatments.Adjust employee grievances.

Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree major in Entomology, or Pest Management-related courseAt least 3 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.Certified Pest ControllerWill do store visits almost daily (within Metro Manila, and nationwide)Willing to be assigned in Scout Tobias, Quezon City and/or Sta. Maria, Bulacan
