Job description

Gateway Property Holdings, Inc. is currently looking for a chemist as part of the Environment Protection and Control Department.

Responsibilities:

Conduct regular sampling and laboratory testing of effluent from locators within Gateway Business Park and the Wastewater Treatment Plant.Together with the wastewater treatment plant operator, monitor and maintain the efficiency of the wastewater treatment plant operation through testing of the water at different stage of the treatment process and application of appropriate process chemical dosage and oxygen from aerators.Conduct inventory of process chemicals and laboratory chemicals.Maintain the laboratory equipment and glassware in good condition.

Job Qualifications:

Requirements:

Able to conduct simple laboratory analysis (e.g. COD, BOD, etc.)Willing to work shifting hours.Within General Trias, Cavite nearby Gateway Business Park or willing to relocate near the workplace.Can work with minimal supervision.

Education:

Graduate of Chemistry/Microbiology/Environmental science related courses that is able to perform sampling and laboratory testing - Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Laboratory Technology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology.Fresh graduates are encourage to apply.
