Actuarial Manager

Job Description:

Take a leading role in serving our clients, ensuring a qualitative delivery of our projectsEnable a fast learning curve for our more junior team members by on-the-job coaching, providing training and acting as their counselorPrepare regular analyses and valuation calculations by product group / distribution channel in areas such as expenses and allowances, commission levelPrepare statutory reporting to the regulatory authorities and managementReport on functional strength, profitability, progress and specific portfoliosInvolve in tailoring the rate and setting the premium of individual insurance policies, calculating risk assessment and recommending policy surrender values and costs of policy changesDevelop insurance products, establish premiums and advise on underwriting policySupport distribution channels in areas such as special quotations and product trainingLiaise with regulatory bodies on matters involving capital management / solvency

To qualify for the role you must have the following skills...

Must have 9 to 15 years of professional experience, either within a Big4 or in the insurance sectorYou have team leader capabilities and a structured and analytical approach
