IN-LINE QC

1.0 JOB SUMMARY

In-Line QC is in charge of assuring that all products produced and packed conform to standard specification set by Grand Alphatech. He or She ensures implementations of Good Manufacturing Practices, Standard Operating Procedures and Standard Sanitation Operating Procedures.

2.0 STATEMENT OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

2.1 Monitors and implements product standard specification, Standard Operating Procedures and Standard Sanitation Operating Procedure in Processing or Packaging section.

2.2 Advice to stop production run in case of quality discrepancy found during monitoring. Inform In-line QC team leaders or QA supervisor/manager.

2.3 Ensures that all finished products are properly coded for proper identification.

2.4 documents, coordinates and advice Production in case of deviation from set standards.

2.5 Set aside and properly label retained samples for shelf-life evaluation and reference in case of complaints.

2.6 Coordinates with Packaging Development Specialist regarding packaging rejects found during regular production runs.

2.7 Coordinates with QC Team Leader regarding defective Raw Materials/Packaging Materials found during production use.

2.8 Conducts shelf life evaluation of retained samples.

2.9 Conducts start-up checklist prior to production run (Man/Machine).

2.10    Safe keep all In-line QC’s equipment during and after use.

2.11    Performs other related duties as may be assigned

2.12   Ensure the compliance to established food safety programs including cGMP appropriate to

the department/section.

2.13  Ensures implementation of established environmental management system.

3.0 .BASIC RELATIONSHIP

3.1 Reports to QC Team Leader, Quality Assurance Manager and Quality Assurance Supervisor

3.2 Coordinates with Production Line Leaders, Production Supervisor and Production Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS

Graduate of B.S. Food Technology or B.S Chemistry or B.S. Chemical Engineering or BS Nutrition or B.S Food Engineering

Preferably with 1 – 2 years exposure as In-Line QC in food manufacturing company

Must be computer literate, results oriented, with leadership skill, has excellent in oral and written communication skills
