JOB SUMMARY:
The Quality and Food Safety Supervisor of the Quality and Food Safety Section is responsible in supervising QFS Assistant Supervisor, DC Compliance Officer, QFS Senior Analyst and QFS Analysts in ensuring that all quality and food safety standards are being verified, implemented, and data gathered are analyzed.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Quality and Food Safety Management System
1.1. Supervises and ensures execution of established quality and food safety standards in RCS. This includes but not limited to the following:
Food Safety System Certification 22000,Pre-requisite programs such as Good Warehouse Practices (GWP), Good Distribution Practices (GDP), SSOP, andHazard Analysis and Critical Co
ntrol Points
1.2. Reviews and analyzes Quality and Food Safety verification checklist for Inbound, Storing, Outbound, Blast Freezing and Facilities.
1.3. Provides technical in issuing and accomplishing corrective action requisition brought about by complaints related to quality and food safety,
1.4. Provides technical report pertaining to the assessment on the productivity and efficiency of the activities Quality and Food Safety Section, and
1.5. Shall pursue undergo training ’s Food Safety Compliance Officer (FSCO) serve as back up to existing Plant FSCO
2. Quality and Food Safety Audits
2.1. Facilitates preparation for all internal and external quality and food safety audits,
2.2. Interfaces and engages auditors during conduct of internal and external audits to substantiate compliance to established quality and food safety standards, and
2.3. Reviews and evaluates needed corrections, root cause analyses and corrective action plans from internal and external quality and food safety audit results.
3. Coaching and Mentoring
3.1. Facilitates training, onboarding and orientation of quality and food safety standards to all active and incoming RCS employees,
3.2. Ensures appropriate materials or tools are used during training, onboarding and orientation, and
4. Project Proposals
4.1. Proposes projects related to the continual improvement of Quality and Food Safety Department, and
4.2. Monitors the progress and validates the effectiveness of improvement projects being implemented and/or completed.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduate of any 4 years science-related course, but preferably BS Food Technology, BS Chemistry, BS Chemical Engineering, and BS BiologyMinimum of three (3) years work experience in any manufacturing or warehouse company and/or any food related business.Knowledgeable in local and global food safety Standards and pre-requisite programs – FSSC 22000, HACCP, GOP, GWP & SSOPApplicant must be willing to work in Marilao, Bulacan.
