Job Responsibilities:Oversees and monitors movement of vessel schedule to call at the ports within agency jurisdiction. Ensures that every vessel is assured of berth prior to or upon arrival. Supervises vessel operations to achieve a high-performance rating of gross production rates.Prepares and sends voyage account estimates of every vessel as maybe required by the principal.Sends reply on the daily inquiries coming from principals and clients.Checks and monitors movement of transshipment cargoes arranged through local domestic carriers bound to various outports.Checks and verifies invoices submitted by service providers pertaining to vessel operations.Checks and supervises preparation of various operations reports sent to principals and ensure that instructions given by principals are properly and expeditiously carried out by staff concerned.Coordinates with terminal operators and vessel operators regarding vessel and terminal operations.Must be fully versed with the organization's respective principal’s updated service, scope, service patters, acceptance policies, etc; and works closely with other departments within the organization in areas of common interest.Must be updated on rules and regulations being implemented by various government agencies that are relevant to vessel operations and cargo handling.Represents the company in AISL meetings and other similar shipping associations to promote and protect the interest of the Company and of our principals on matters pertaining to the operational issues in the shipping industry.Ensures that tracking and monitoring system and guidelines for containers are in place and being carried out by the Equipment Control personnel and accredited service providers; also, attend to container/equipment concerns as required by the principal; ensures that a proper tracking / monitoring of principals and company equipment (i.e. chassis) are in place. Job Qualifications:Must have at least 10 years of experience managing the operations of a liner agency.· Must be familiar with related software ( CASP, terminal operating systems, container management systems.· Must be able to communicate well in English and Filipino and report on matters covered by his/her department.· Good moral standing.· Must be a team player.· Must be willing to work beyond office hours.
