Qualifications

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in any field. Firm Background of customer service is highly required.At least 3-4 years of work experience in shipping line or logistics / freight forwarding industry as export customer serviceStrong communication and interpersonal skillsCustomer-oriented with passion, patience and caring attitudeExcellent problem solving and time management skillsProficient in Microsoft office

Key Job Responsibilities

Ensure close coordination with customers and provide all necessary information to them so as to facilitate smooth booking process and flow of essential informationMonitor bookings from customer, check of equipment availability and vessel space.Follow up with operations team for vessel schedules, berthing updates, feeder space and keep customer duly informed.Arrange for proper booking forecast from customers and ensure logistics team is duly updated to arrange for equipment.Closely liaise with customer for pre / post shipment requirements and provide all necessary updates to themEnsure all client disputes / queries are resolved satisfactorily.Ensure timely submission of weekly/monthly reports as required by the manager.
