TRANSPORT MANAGER

(MANILA & LAS PIÑAS)

Job Summary:

The Transport Manager will execute, direct, and coordinate shipments into and out of an organization.

Role & Responsibilities:

* Oversees the coordination and routing of shipments.

* Directs dispatching and routing activities and tracks transportation

vehicles.

* Ensures that customer difficulties or problems are investigated and

resolved.

* Negotiates and secures contracts with transportation providers and

customers.

* Directs all maintenance, repair, and replacement of shipping equipment or

vehicles.

* Maintains knowledge of regulations related to transportation including

those related to hazardous shipments, employee safety, and freight

classifications.

* Reviews and analyzes expenditures and other financial information; uses

results to develop and implement plans, policies, and budgets.

* Responsible for other duties including: Oversees the daily workflow,

schedules, and assignments of transportation employees, Supervises

clerks working with tariff classifications or billing, yearly performance

appraisals for staff and manage all staff and be responsible for day to day

operational activities at the branch location.

* Requires a minimum of 3-5 years Transportation Manager in Freight

Forwarding Logistics/Trucking.

* Pro-active presentation and Strong supervisory and leadership skills.

* Strong logistical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

* Bachelors degree in Logistics or a related field required.

COORDINATOR

(DISPATCHER - MANILA)

Job Summary:

Handles trucks movement and scheduling of trips based on Trucking Instruction received from Operations Department. Pro-active coordination to operations on current status of loading and delivery.

Role & Responsibilities:

* Receives and assigns to Truck driver trucking instruction on pick-up/

delivery from operations department and information trucking officer on

daily routine.

* Ensures timely dispatching of trucks and that all trucking requirements of

clients are accomplished based on Trucking instruction.

* Monitors truck movement via GPS report and provide update accordingly.

* Collect and complete every delivery receipt for billing preparation.

* Ensures that all trucks are in good condition

* Properly coordinate trucking cost based of operation requirements.

* Implements cost control measures by planning the schedule of pick-up of

cargoes and monitoring of trucking personnel expenses.

* Requires a minimum of 1-3 years Transportation Coordinator in Freight

Forwarding Logistics/Trucking.

• Duration: Full Time

• Working Hours: Mon - Friday 8am - 5:30 pm

• Commission / Bonus: As per company policy

• Gross monthly base salary: Negotiable
