The Road Transport Supervisor (Mindanao) - supervise the overall operations of road haulage, distribution and transport operations, including routes, rates and schedules, oversees that products reach their destinations safely, on time and in the most cost-effective way.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Minimizing truck downtime.Managing drivers schedules and ensuring their OT does not surpass the allowable amount.Managing costs of the entire in-house truck fleet.Validating gas expenses and other internal costs (PCF charges, etc.).Keeping trucks in good condition (both aesthetically and functionally).Supervise drivers and their routes.GPS and Real time truck monitoring.Monitors road condition, weather, traffic and port congestion and recommends vehicle re-routing based on GPS information and driver information.

QUALIFICATIONS

Graduate of any 4 year Engineering or Business courseMinimum of 3-5 years managerial experience handling warehouse and logistics or 3-5 years cumulative work experience in logistics or a similar industryStrong understanding of the supply chain process, transport and warehousing systems, vendor management and enterprise resources planning. Must be knowledgeable of industry trendsMust have a Strong Leadership SkillsExhibits grow mindsetResult oriented, flexible, committed, hardworking, innovative, persistent, positive outlook and can Lead a team.
