The RoleAs Credit Risk Analytics Manager, you will assess and manage end-to-end credit risk on acquisition and portfolio action frameworks of SBF products to support business growth and initiatives in line with set business risk appetite. The role mainly focuses to develop and implement credit risk underwriting criteria, monitoring the existing portfolio’s credit performance, refining policy and processes as necessary, managing losses, reserves, and related policies, and ensuring implementation in compliance with policy, law, and regulationHow you'll contributeDevelop and implement changes to credit risk policies of all portfolios under the entity, including underwriting policies and portfolio management actions. Analyze the impact of proposed policy changes and discuss the proposal with related functions & management for approval. Communicate changes to relevant parties prior to implementation. Ensure proper implementation in the system and well-monitored impact on portfolio performance post execution of the changes.Implement the risk strategy to support business growth through new product and portfolio action program launches. Identify eligibility criteria for new product/program and estimate acquisition volume and loss projections. Ensure system and process readiness prior to implementation by coordinating with cross-functional teams on the requirements. Monitor performance results post launch against set benchmarks and triggers via reporting tools and analysis.Develop and review early warning triggers in line with risk appetite for both new acquisitions and existing portfolios. Ensure periodic validation of the triggers for optimal profitability. Recommend and implement risk actions based on these trigger reviews to improve portfolio performance and/or opportunity for business growth while maintaining sound credit risk quality.Ensure monthly Credit Risk Pack and Portfolio Quality Reports are completed in a timely manner with accurate data. Insights and trends are highlighted to the management team and relevant stakeholders to aid in refining business strategies and decisions.Coordinate and work together with Risk Model & Monitoring Manager to ensure timely and accurate ECL and reserve calculations and recommendations. Seek approval prior to submission and ensure compliance to reserve policy and regulation. Monitor reserve trend and warrant reserve adequacy is validated against recent performance and thru the economic cycle.Involve in delinquency and loss forecasting tasks for the operating plan (OP) and ensure set risk profiles and business strategies are reflected correctly in the projections. Monitor the trend and actual performance against plan and take corrective actions as necessary (segment policy tightening etc.Regularly monitor policy discrepancies among products on a regular basis. Coordinate with cross functional team including business & operations on implementing policies, processes, and control mechanisms to improve productivity and effectiveness.Support in providing internal and external audit requirements from Credit Risk. Work with related functions to implement corrective actions to close audit issues, if any, and report progress to senior management.Assist in preparing inputs for credit risk-related governance forums. Support to ensure follow-up items and corrective actions are resolved within targeted timelines.Performs other related tasks which may be assigned from time to time by the Head of Credit Risk to support the same objective of setting up and executing a robust end-to-end credit risk framework for business growth and development within the set business risk appetite.Train and guide Credit Risk Analysts on managing portfolio credit risk and related responsibilities.What we’re looking forGraduate of Bachelor's Degree in Statistics or MathematicsShould have at least 10 years of relevant experience in the banking, credit card companies, leasing/financing InstitutionsExtensive experience in credit risk management and related fieldUnderstanding of finance, banking business, and consumer lending (secured and unsecured) credit risk and portfolio managementExperience in developing segmentation strategiesDatabase and Data Warehouse knowledge and experience with data tools – SAS, SQLStrong analytical skills and logical thinkingAdvanced computer skills especially Microsoft ExcelProficiency in English both speaking and writingGood presentation and communication skillsGood people management skillsResult-oriented and a team playerWork under pressure, accountable, and committedAbility to build good relationships and trust with cross functional teams and business leadersPassion for excellence and customer centricMulti-tasking with the ability to handle multiple assignmentsProactive with initiatives aligned with business directionDecision maker
