An ideal candidate will find most interesting in the job is the contribution he/she might provide to the dispatching activities in the head office and terminals. The Road Transport/Scheduler provides support to the dispatching activities in the head office and terminals under its area/s of assignment.
Success in this role will require you to fulfill the following responsibilities:
1. Secures list of unserved approved/booked sales orders and transmits the same to the Terminal Dispatchers.
2. Secures tank truck attendance list of contracted/exclusive haulers from Transport Head and transmits the same to the Terminal Dispatchers.
3. Conducts matching of orders based on available tank trucks.
4. Coordinates with Terminal Dispatchers in implementing the matched orders.
5. Monitors and reviews the status of unserved/undelivered orders and provides regular updates to the Dispatch Operations Supervisor and Transport Head.
6. Performs other related functions that may be assigned from time to time.
