SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:The bookkeeper shall be responsible for maintaining the financial records of the Group of Companies by accurately recording the day to day financial transactions of the company. FUNCTIONS:Maintains and updates subsidiary ledger accounts by recording and posting transactions in the accounting system and in the manual books of accountsMaintains and updates general ledger by transferring subsidiary account summaries to the general ledgerEnsures completeness of financial transactions posted to subsidiary ledger accountsLiaise with the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) in the application of tax identification number (TIN) of unit buyers of the Group of Companies.Performs other duties as assigned from time to time by superiorQUALIFICATIONS:Must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy.With basic knowledge in accountingGood computer skills (especially with Microsoft excel)Goal-oriented and self-directed, can work with less supervisionTeam player, pro-active and willing to work extended hours 6.
