This is a great opportunity to manage a wide range of bookkeeping tasks in a rapidly growing business working closely with our accounting team.
You will be managing bookkeeping for a large range of clients including the employer’s group of 6 entities.
We need someone who is very switched on, who can learn fast, with a great attention to detail, able work in a high volume, fast paced environment and able to quickly re- prioritise throughout the day on the fly. We are looking for someone with great communication skills, especially written and happy to work in a small close-knit team.
about the role:
Working in a small team and closely with the Bookkeeping Manager, you will focus on bookkeeping services such as:
• Bank Reconciliations
• End to End Payroll and Payroll Tax
• Quarterly and Monthly BAS’s
• Preparation and reviewing of monthly reporting (P&L, BS etc)
• Accounts Payable/ Receivable
• Journal Entries
• Maintaining Asset Registers
Advisory services such as:
• Payroll audits
• Xero Conversions or Set-ups
The role is well suited for an individual looking for a long-term position and wishing to take on a wide range of responsibilities in a fast-paced environment, and someone who can work on a portfolio of business clients across different industries and maintain excellent relationships with both clients and the teams.
about You
• Bookkeeping qualification is preferred
• Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in Australian bookkeeping
• A good knowledge of various Payroll Awards
• In depth experience in the preparation and review BAS’s, P&Ls, Cash flow statement Balance Sheet reports & Payrolls
• Excellent knowledge of Xero and MYOB
• Knowledge of Asana, Practice Ignition, Deputy, Hubdoc and other add-ons desirable
• Can quickly learn how to use new software and programmes
• Extremely high attention to detail
• A committed, and flexible attitude
• Must have strong communication skills, an excellent work ethic and can work both independently and as part of a team
• Highly organised and able to plan and prioritise daily tasks in a fast-paced environment
• A fun, friendly and positive attitude and a great willingness to learn
