Initiates plan, programs, projects, policies, processes, operational plans and systems to promote overall security and safety in the workplace.Create and implement Health and Safety policies and guidelines in accordance with the latest legislation and to ensure that these policies/ guidelines are implemented by management and employees.Strategizes plans to target 0% lost-time accident.Analyzes hazardous conditions and make necessary corrective actions.Generates and implement environmental Policies, Guidelines and procedures (E.g. Environment Policies, Pest Control Guidelines, etc.).Recommend facilities and process improvement based on safety assessment/inspections.Monitor safety projects and ensure that it is implemented and completed on agreed time and specifications.Ensure compliance to permitting and reporting requirements of regulating Government Agency (i.e. DOLE, BFP, DENR, LLDA, LGUs, etc.).Acts as site advisory in the application of health and safety programs to eliminate the hazards from workplace and correct unsafe work practices.Acts in an advisory capacity on all matters pertaining to health and safety for the guidance of the management and workers.Focal person for plant security concerns.Manage the operation of site Emergency Response Team.Prepares site annual drill plan (Fire, Earthquake, etc.) and facilities implementation of the planned drills.Performed other duties as may be assigned by the immediate superior.
