Training : 8 hours of relevant training on any of the following topical
areas: orientation on vocational rehabilitation; laws on
persons with disabilities and sensitivities to persons with
disabilities; effective communication skills for PWDS,
Teaching Methodology (TM)
Experience : 2 years of experience relevant to implementation of social
welfare programs and services; exposure to social welfare
residential-based & center-based program implementation
managing cases; Exposure to vocational rehabilitation or vocational skills training facilities.

Primary Tasks:
Under general supervision, performs professional and technical functions;
Directs a small group to provide vocational skills to the blind and other disability categories in a vocational rehabilitation center setting;
Develops training modules that is appropriate to foster competencies of clients and
corresponding appropriate tools for assessment;
evaluates trainees in the performance and progress of their vocational skills training;
Provides instructions to the persons with disabilities or special groups with personality and emotional problems using special and adopted methods, techniques and strategies;
Takes periodic progress reports of clients;
Collaborates with other rehabilitation team members in the evaluation of the clients;
Coordinates with vocational training providers and other industry partners for the on-the-job training of clients.
Assesses performance and provides technical assistance to supervised staff;
Attends meetings, seminars, conferences;
Performs other related functions.
