Energy Market Economist

Job Qualifications:

·       Candidate must be a graduate of any Engineering or Business courses.

·       Graduated with Latin Honors is an advantage.

·       With at least 1 year of experience in utility industry, preferably in wholesale electricity spot market.

·       Excellent communication and analytical skills.

·       Meticulous attention to detail with superb organization skills.

·       Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

·       Applicant must be willing to work in Taguig.

·       Applicants must be willing to render duties on a Monday-Friday schedule, plus 2 Saturdays in a month.

Job Description Summary:

·       Perform financial modelling to predict project viability.

·       Assess and forecast financial risks and returns (short-long term).

·       Assist and provide investment advice and recommendations to management.

·       Assist in energy market economics modelling and analysis.

·       Participate and perform any special projects that will contribute to the overall success of the business.
