Job Description

The Job Summary

Provide all financial, HR and administrative support, ensuring proper recording and documentation of company transactions, and implementation of its internal HR and financial controls.

FINANCE:

Preparation & processing of accounts payable, cash management, and financial and regulatory reporting.Provide daily, monthly, and annual accounting support for Operations/Finance.Responsible for recording the expense, disbursements, and receipts to company books.General accounting functions reporting for Sales, Cost, Inventory & Fund management & financial riskReconcile accounts payable.Manages Petty Cash Fund.Handles bank transactions (passbook updates, deposits, encashment) and preparation of checks.Filing of Statutory Compliances – BIR and other mandated government agencies.Handles Business Permit Renewal including other related mandated licenses.Keeps organized filing records and other transaction documentation.Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessarySupports the Finance Head and executives with projects and other tasks when required.Prepares & assists with month-end and year-end closings, and annual financial statement audits.

HR:

Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.Collates pre-employment requirements (SSS, Pag-Ibig, Philhealth, TIN etc.)Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications.Implements new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.Performs other duties as assigned.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and Google applications preferred.Solid verbal and written communication skills.Excellent attention to detail.Ability to juggle several tasks at once.Proactive; strong initiative to take on tasks.Strong work ethic, professional and calm demeanorFlexible, Honest, TrustworthyA doer, not just a thinker.Resourceful and excited by problem-solvingBachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Business Administration – Finance or Accounting, Financial Management, or equivalent combination of education & experience.At least five (5) or more years of meaningful experience in finance/accounting, general accounting transactions Government Mandated Compliance, FS, TB, & other relevant tasks.Hands-on knowledge of accounting software and Inventory Management.Thoroughly demonstrated skills in matters related to accounting and financial policies, procedures, and reporting.Willing to report to work 1-2x a week.
