Job Description
THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking to hire a Digital Ads Manager for our client based in the US. This role will manage internet pay-per-click advertising campaigns including the strategy, design, implementation, SEO, and analysis of ad performance across multiple channels.

The Digital Ads Manager will be responsible for planning, testing, implementing, and optimizing online marketing investments and initiatives for the SEM, SEO, affiliates, display/retargeting, email, and referral programs. In addition, this person will build retention and lifecycle initiatives, developing innovative ways to nurture long-term customer relationships, reduce churn, and improve engagement and lifetime value. Candidates should possess prior experience in the CPG category and/or experience with startups.

This is a contractual, part-time, freelance position with an evaluation period of three (3) months and can be done completely from home with a fast Internet connection and the proper equipment and gear.

QUALIFICATIonSCollege or University graduate of any Marketing or 4-year courseAt least 2-4 years of proven experience as a Digital Marketing Manager or similar experienceSuccessful track-record of developing marketing strategies, executing, measuring, and delivering on performance targets.Strong project management skills including: conceptualization, driving alignment, planning resources, managing deadlines and objectives, delivering analysis and recommendations.Highly analytical, data-driven and understands how to optimize email programs to deliver upon overall company goals and metrics.Strong understanding of consumer mindset, consumer empathy and a dedication to creating great consumer experiences.Takes ownership, problem solves and demonstrates a high level of accountability.Deep understanding of current digital landscape and anticipates future digital marketing programsMust possess excellent communication skills both oral and writtenIs very tech savvy and has good organizational, analytical, communications skillsHas own laptop or desktop computer and has a stable, fast and reliable internet connection at home capable of doing voice callsExperience working from home, a plus.Willing to work graveyard shifts, US Pacific time zone (Work schedule TBD)Willing to take a pre-employment assessment test (see below)JOB DEscriptION (SCOPE OF WORK)Direct all SEM, SEO, affiliates, display/retargeting, email, and lead generate/online referral programsEnsure investments and efforts within each program drive the forecasted amount of qualified traffic, demand, and buyers for each programResearch and test keyword choices, and be ready to change them when you do not see resultsLanding page optimizationManage our list growth tactics, segmentation and cohort analysis.Ensure continual optimization of each program to drive results versus forecast on a weekly, monthly and annual basis. Oversee efforts to ensure optimal allocation of the weekly budget investments in each program.Help drive awareness for new content, company announcements, upcoming product releases, and additions to our scientific team.Develop tools and manage reporting to measure and forecast churn, activation, retention, and subscription conversion performance.Identify key metrics and establish dashboards to optimize activation and retention programs.Understand SEO trends and outsmart Google’s ever changing algorithmsCollaborate with the Brand Marketing team to align on digital marketing initiatives to ensure a consistent, seamless customer experience, leveraging best practices.WORK HOURSWork from home.
