Job Description Summary

Your role is to create and optimize a sustainable experience that nets more long-term engaged users. You must bring design at the very start of the growth process, learning the ropes along the way. DEscriptION:

Pushes the design team to ensure everyone is focused on business success — through the lens of user successDeeply understands both the business ecosystem (ex. 4 Ps) and the end-user (ex. pain points, motivation, and goals)Owns user problems more generally — it’s not about working on one problem but rather, traversing multiple products to ensure that users are successful in their specific tasksIdentifies the gaps and opportunities in complex systems, suggests and designs improvements, including new featuresUnderstands and utilizes the emotional and experiential components that make a feature or overall product workKnows how to observe behavior, looks beyond the results of experiments, and discovers what can bring real value to the usersExecutes as quickly as possible (more on velocity not speed)

REQUIREMENTS:

A bachelor's degree in Information Design, Interaction Design, Multimedia, Graphic Design, Marketing, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or related field8+ years of relevant work experience in creating and implementing UX strategy, UI design, or related work4+ years of managing a design teamA strong grasp of product thinking and ecosystems, interaction, visual design & customer empathyA strong technical backgroundFamiliarity with design processes and product life cycleAdvanced knowledge in building design systemsAdvanced experience in creating user journeys/flows, wireframes, and prototypesExperience in  UX testing and design research and analysisDesign craftsmanship and quality assuranceHard skills needed to design with intent and purpose (experience in design to development handoff is a BIG plus!)Proficiency in using Figma and FigJam or any design platformGross Sales RevenueApp installsDAU, WAU, MAUNPS40% reduced outsourcingDesign velocityDesign quality and standardsDesign System AdoptionResearch synthesis and reporting
