Your team responsibilitiesThe Corporate Governance Data Senior Associate shall be primarily responsible for (i) data collection and analysis of corporate governance information and (ii) resolving issues in the data quality management process, maintaining standards for data quality and effectively performing quality assurance to data collection team output. All the services are available for our employees free of charge. Your key responsibilities Searching and processing corporate governance information on MSCI’s CG universe using acceptable methods, techniques and sourcesDeveloping subject matter expertise and taking ownership of corporate governance knowledge within the organizationPerforming quality assurance to data collection team output and preparing metrics report to stakeholdersLiaising and communicating effectively with other groups such ESG Research, Controversies and others to improve understanding of corporate governance and data collection methodologiesCoordinating with IT development team on data collection platform incidents and/or projectsConducting frequent research for the purpose of procuring, verifying and processing data by browsing through various financial, exchange and government regulator websites and materials as well as corporate governance databases. Your skills and experience that will help you excelStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with clear attention to detailAbility to prioritize and work under tight deadlinesAt least a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Company Law, or similar field of study, with at least three to four years' experience in a managerial roleCandidates with prior experience with ESG, specifically corporate governance data research and analysis will be prioritized.Good judgment in assessing available information and accurate encoding of such data as per MSCI methodologyExcellent oral and written communication skills in English How we’ll support youCoaching, support and encouragement from experts in your teamAccess to a wide range of learning opportunities to support your growth and developmentCustomizable learning journeys to help you navigate your professional developmentTransparent performance-based compensation schemesEmployee Resource Groups: MSCI Pride, Black Leadership Network, Women’s Leadership Forum, Women in Tech, Asian Support Network, All Abilities, Hola!
