Roles and Responsibilities: 

Overall responsibility for Philippine tax compliance, reporting and accountingEnsures maximization of the incentives granted to the Company under Board of Investments (BOI)Spearhead the planning and execution of tax strategies of the CompanyEnsures compliance on tax reporting requirements for BIR, SEC, BOI and government agencies.Spearhead tax initiatives and projects in the Company.Will manage tax audits, discussions and reconciliations with Tax authoritiesProvide assistance and tax expertise for internal company clients on tax-related queries

Qualifications: 

Has 7 or more years of experience as Tax and Compliance Officer or ManagerExperienced in the accurate and timely preparation, review, and filing of national tax returns EWT, VAT, Income tax, FBT, FWT & DST.Experienced in the accurate and timely preparation of local taxes - LBT, RPT, Local transfer taxes, eCAR filingExperienced in dealing with BIR, LGUs, and other government authorities.Experienced in coordinating with Accounting for tax base and documentations teams for contractsExperienced in tax planning and implementation efforts to reduce or avoid tax leakages.Experienced in handling BIR tax auditsExperience in compliance BOI incentives a plus.Strong compliance and analytic skillsCPA a plus but not required.
