SearchMax is seeking an SEO Specialist to deliver SEO strategies and recommendations across multiple industries and niches. It is a fast-paced position requiring advanced SEO knowledge and a comfortable level with the evolving search landscape. Changing concepts must be absorbed and learned quickly.
A large part of the job entails keyword research, briefing on content strategies, link building, and identifying technical SEO opportunities.
The ability to create an SEO strategy, use reporting tools, and ensure continued organic growth will be a factor in your success.
Strong relationship management skills and the capability to work with various internal teams and vendors are essential to this position.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The following are some of the responsibilities you will have:
Implementing SEO strategy across content and technical, and maximising opportunities for organic traffic across our client portfolio in collaboration with the SEO Lead and other stakeholders
Assisting the SEO Lead in all aspects of organic research, including competitor analyses, backlink audits, site speed reports, and technical SEO reports (using tools such as Google Search Console, SEMRush, Ahrefs, ScreamingFrog, and DeepCrawl).
Utilise Google Analytics and other data tools to measure the performance of web properties and monitor and implement tracking codes
Assisting the development team with site optimisation reports and making recommendations according to SEO best practices
Knowledgeable about search engine algorithms and ranking methods.
Make recommendations to improve SEO positions for target keywords by changing website architecture, content, linking, and other factors.
Engage editorial and marketing teams to develop SEO-friendly content
Search engine management (XML sitemaps, feeds, webmaster tools)
