Job Purpose:
The role will be accountable for owning, developing and driving the Category sales of the online stores. From creating merchandising strategies, merchandise selection, promotions to reviewing of analytics and business together with each merchandising partner. Key deliverable is sales.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for developing and driving the category sales of the online stores.
• Monitors and reviews category performance and identifies opportunities and takes corrective action when necessary.
• Reviews and develops online category merchandising and promotion proposals to achieve sales targets and deliver the best customer experience.
• Must be able to deep-dive into the merchandise planning through exposure to competitor e-commerce sites and offline stores on a category level.
• Uses data to drive category sales and improve conversion rate.
Key Qualifications:
• Graduate of any Business, Commerce and Marketing Related Course
• With at least 5 years work experience in retail merchandising, ecommerce experience is an advantage
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Passionate about e-commerce and customer experience
• Collaborative and ability to push for numbers and business development
