JOB/POSITION SUMMARY
Directly reporting to the Acting Financial Head of the Finance-Customer Excellence Department. Should be overseeing and supervising company’s payroll functions and accounts payable. All routine activities processing, ensuring pay is processed on time, accurately, and in compliance with government regulations. Your strong analytical and management skills are key to building strong financial relationships within and outside businesses/vendors.

Maintaining accuracy in all financial reporting proceduresServing as an intermediary between departmental and external suppliersHiring, training, and supervising team membersAssigning daily tasks to team members and ensuring accuracy processing payrolls and invoice paymentsCompiling, analyzing, and reporting financial informatio

nducting any accounting activitiesExecuting vendor payment runs and assessing tax related processesImplements, maintains, and reviews payroll processing systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions.Ensures accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates.Prepares and maintains accurate records and reports of payroll transactions.Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices.Facilitates audits by providing records and docu
mentation to auditors.Identifies and recommends updates to payroll processing software, systems, and procedures.Performs other duties as assigned.Ensure to meet the team’s set KPI for payroll, Accounts payable and all items in generalIdentify process improvements for Accounts Payable and PayrollAd hoc tasks in support to the Financial Lead
JOB/POSITION SPECIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Management, Finance, or related fieldThree to five years of related experience required as an Accounts Payable Accountant or similar position that handles accounts payable processing practices and guidelines. Havin
g a payroll background is a plus.Knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting practicesFamiliarity with accounting software and principles Strong analytical and mathematical skills, managerial and leadership skills and verbal and written communication skill and attention to detail.Ability to analyze complex financial data accuratelyAdvanced computer skills, Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software and payroll softwareStrong analytical and problem-solving skill, presentation, and negotiation skillsAbility to offer excellent customer serviceAbility to co
nduct all accounting functions adhering to the company policiesExtensive knowledge of the payroll function including preparation, balancing, internal control, and payroll taxes.Staff management experience
