The Merchandising Assistant prepares all the paperwork of Merchandising and updates all data into the network system. Performs fieldwork to verify items and activities of competitors in NBS branches including merchandising problems and inquiries.Duties and ResponsibilitiesUpdates accurately and immediately the canvass records upon receiving notices from the Buyers / Assistant Buyers.Submits reports on Merchandising inventory and movement of stocks gathered from the branches.Consolidates inventories submitted by the branch for stock monitoring, rebate and re-ordering / allocation purposes.Constructs memoranda and other forms for effective communication with the branch and vendors, with the approval of the Buyer and/or Assistant Buyer.Prepares sample items and compares them with similar existing items (especially price and quality) to be presented to the Committee. The Merchandising Assistant is also responsible for returning the sample items to the vendor and informing them of the feedback and evaluation.Prepares samples of Job Orders to be used in Marketing activities such as product calendar, magalogue, press release, print ads, websites, artwork, signage and other marketing collaterals.Assists the Buyer in merchandise display, purchase order preparation and deliveries of soon-to-open stores.QualificationsGraduate of Business Management and/or any related course.With less than 2 years work experience in Merchandising and Retail.Must a Team Player, Fast Learner and with Good Negotiation Skills**Flexible Work Arrangement - Work from Home / Onsite**Work Schedule - Monday to Friday**Employment Contract - Probationary
