Prepares analysis and provides sound conclusions and recommendations to improve business. Reviews individual performance and identify training and development needs.
FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. SALES
Meets or surpasses the sales target of the stores.Ensures the achievement of target EBIT of the store.
2. INVENTORY MANAGEMENT
Knows ways to sell and dispose aging items and damaged merchandise.Knows and understands how to do markdowns and price breaks control.Mo
nitors the movement of the merchandise to distinguish the bestsellers and slow moving items; prom
pt analysis, feedback and recommendation of said items.Co
nsider which goods will sell well in particular locations, and at what customer are willing to pay.Sources and develops new local and internatio
nal suppliers (outright and concessionaire) to ensure category merchandise assortment is updat
ed with local and internatio
nal trends.Mo
nitors and controls the markdown and price breaks.

4. PEOPLE MANAGEMENT
Ensures proper implementation of Offenses Subject to Disciplinary Action (OSDA) and company rules to all direct reports.

Prepares analysis and provides sound co
nclusions and recommendations to improve business.Prepares and presents reports such as business reviews and new buys.Submits Housekeeping reports after store visits.Act as a role model in complying with company policies and ensures that staff comply with all policies and work requirements at all times.Sets the highest performance standards in the store.Interviews candidates and reacts to existing and potential staff vacancies.Reviews individual performance and identify training and development needs.Performs other functions as may be assigned by immediate superior from time to time.
