Job Description

General Functions:

To ensure the attainment of sales, distribution, merchandising, and collection objectives set for his territory within budgeted sales expense, by adequately engaging in trade development activities and open new potential accounts within the assign territory, by working out distribution objectives as regards to range and distributions per channel, by maintaining a high collection efficiency rate and abide with the company collections policy, by proper merchandising and mindful on the market hygiene standard, and by maintaining an orderly and updated system of record keeping and reporting.

Specific Functions:

·        Sales Generation and Execution

o  Achieve sales target based on set distributor plans

o  Ensure that customers have optimum stock level of all products at any given time and makes follows up subsequent deliveries.

o  Adheres to set Master Coverage Plans

o  Adheres to set standards and procedure as determined by the Nestle Way of Selling through ICE standard

o   Implement cycle plans based on set guidelines and trade standards

·        Operational Efficiency

o  Adhere to distributor policies and procedures in credit and collection minimizing financial exposure standard of 90:10 efficiency

§ The 10% overdue refer to 16 to 20 days over and all are collectibles.

o  Adhere to set standards on stock freshness and control of market hygiene in his/her area of responsibility.

o  Adhere proper and efficient use of all point of sale materials such as but not limited to the ff: posters, tarpaulin, banners, by deploying or using this on the right stores, on the right venue and timing of merchandising activity

o  Ensure that Nestle’s products are adequately merchandised and properly displayed in the different outlets, based on current merchandising guidelines and channels.

o  Prepare timely and accurate reports on his daily sales activities, trade development and competitive activities.

o  Ensure that all company funds and properties (i.e., cash, invoices, accountable forms, etc.) fully accounted for upon demand by authorized company representatives

o  Provide relevant information as to competition, trade performance and recommendations to support the preparation of business and customer plans.

o  Provide product knowledge on all product lines to meet customer information needs and queries

o  Work with merchandisers, Promotions Coordinator, and other members of the sales team in execution of sales activities

o  Conduct market hygiene check during store visit to monitor bad goods and ensure documentation and retrieval.

B. KRA Performance Assessment

1.      Achievement of KRAs will be assessed every month:

Non-achievement of the required monthly KRAs in three consecutive months in a year is considered as failure in performing his/her roles/functions as Distributor Sales Representative (DSR)  and will be subjected to a Performance Review/Re-assessment which may lead to possible Employment Dismissal due to poor performance

Required Qualifications

·    Graduate of any four-year business college course

·    Minimum of atleast two years experience in Sales

·    Knowledgeable to do report presentations with Good Communication Skills

·    Computer literate

·    Management & Leadership Skills
