Checking and verifying documents that will be recorded in the accounting system.Recording of all transactions using the accounting system.Making an adjusting journal entry for all transactions that need to be adjusted.Preparing sales summary and purchases for VAT relief preparation.Making of a monthly bank reconciliation to monitor and check the amount debited or credited to the bank that has not been properly recorded.Checking of accounting recordsPreparing a schedule of transactions per account, quarterly and yearlyPreparing payroll entries after the payroll period cut-offVerifying checks for payment and receipts for accurate recording in the accounting system.Checking for proper alignment or balances of each account presented in the financial statement and assisting the accounting head.Performing other duties in the accounting department when other employees are not around.
