Retail Sales Officer
Job Description
The Retail Sales Officer is in charge of achieving monthly sales target in terms of revenues and profit margin assigned to him/her. The position also assumes the P&L responsibility for the assigned accounts (online, outbound). The position also performs assigned operational tasks based on the operational needs and requirements of the store assignment.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
SALES PLANNING, COORDINATION, AND REVENUE
Sets sales volume forecasts of the accounts handled. Coordinates periodic business reviews with assigned accounts.Ensures the achievement of all the Sales Target as assigned. Focuses on co
ntributing co
nsiderable sales to the stores, and the company, via recommending marketing campaigns or product campaigns, etc. Prepares and submits reports to the Retail Sales Manager. docu
ments and reports the projects’ status and relevant matters discussed during internal and external meetingsProvides regular feedback to Retail Sales Manager through submission of the Activity/Accomplishment Report and Project Status Report, as needed.
PROFITABILITY, PRODUCT AND CUSTOMER SERVICE ORIENTATION
Reviews product information and details as presented and assigned/launched by Products Division Cascades information gathered from sales call such as product specifications, price, volume, requirements, delivery, customer information, etc. Presents product samples to the customer with price quotation co
ntaining specifications of the products such as weight, packaging, dimensions, etc. Interacts with the customers through direct communication via face to face or o
nline meetings, telephone and e-mails in order to discuss or introduce the product details Recommends selling prices of products offered to customers. Ensures positive net income handled through maintaining best possible margin for products and minimizing cost. Making optimal use of operatio
nal expenses such as promotio
nal support or materials.
PROMOTIONS AND MARKETING ORIENTATION
Assists Retail Sales Manager in possible co-branding activities Mans booth during participation in different exhibits geared towards promoting EasyPC products in order to acquire customers. Establishes and develops good customer service relations through providing immediate feedback on the customer’s issues, concerns, and requests. Provides timely, accurate and relevant information on the Market and competition through regular customer interaction and trade checks
OPERATIonAL EFFICIENCY
Provide customer service assistance thru serving orders, answering queries, and suggestive selling. Maintains store’s cleanliness and sanitation at all times, especially on the assigned station. Ensures proper merchandising of products thru timely replenishment of product display, proper placement of price tag on products, and compliance on the visual display requirements of Marketing. Receives store product deliveries in accordance to expected quality and quantity. Coordinates to immediate superior the requisition/ordering requirement of store supplies ba
sed on the assigned inventory mo
nitoring performed (i.e. packaging, cleaning and sanitation supplies, cashiering supplies). Performs basic troubleshooting on store equipment.
QUALITY STANDARD COMPLIANCE
Performs the company’s standard operatio
nal customer service (i.e. greeting, suggestive selling, and complimentary closing). Ensures compliance on set standards of safety, product merchandising and other implemented company policies and guidelines.Maintains good hygiene practices and proper grooming during work hours. Ensures utmost quality of products provided to customers.
CUSTOMER SERVICE
Provides excellent customer service and satisfaction to internal and external customers (i.e. being courteous at all times, giving quality and accurate service, providing immediate response).
QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduate of a four (4) year Business course, preferably in Marketing, Eco
nomics or Business Management from a reputable university or collegeAt least two (2) year experience in Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Strategic Management and Business Development;Preferably, with Sales background;Able to multi-skill, cashiering, stock management, variance handling, customer handling, etc.-
