Your ‘day to day’The role is responsible for the preparation and analysis of consolidated projections of Sales office related expenses for the Original Budget (OB), Rolling Forecasts (RF) and Long Range Plans (LRP) -- if applicable. Coordinates and partners within the Sales Office (SO) and Area SO (ASO) in monitoring monthly and year-to-date budget forecast and actual expenses. Acts as a primary business partner to affiliate Finance HQ in the periodic budget cycle and help provide budget guidance to concerned partners.This role is also responsible for providing topline view of national reports on credit performance and management. Analyzes the data and provide insights on how we can further improve collection efficiencies and other finance related metrics.Your core responsibilitiesPrepares various expense projections for the Original Budget/Revised Forecasts/Quarterly & Latest Estimates/Long Range Plans (if applicable) including analysis in an accurate and timely manner for both OH and non-OHActively coordinates, review, and analysis of detailed budgetary inputs with key personnel of various SO and/or group, to ensure relevant, timely and comprehensive submissions, assumptions, and analyses. This entails acting as a primary business partner in the local region for budget cycle and helping provide guidance on budget guidelines in adherence with relevant Financial Reporting Standards, Principles and Practices.Coordinates and provides guidance on the expense accrual exercise (i.e. quarter / year end) within the scope of Sales Finance. This includes coordinating with the SOs, Regional Key Accounts, Area SO, Commercial Planning Group, Commercial Finance, Financial Reporting, and FSC on the recording and reporting of expenses.Review and analyze credit related reports such as AR currency, Deviation to credit policy as well as rewards to VSM. Support sales office by providing standard BR deck to the region to improve SO metricsSupports sales team by ensuring all Sales office have adequate revolving fund for operations. Supports sales office on both temporary and permanent request for additional revolving fund.Who we’re looking forCollege/University Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business AdministrationMinimum of 5 years of relevant work experience preferably in a MNC company under Finance or business partnering role in a Fast-Moving Consumer Goods environment.Advanced MS Excel/PowerPoint skills and hands-on knowledge / experience of SAP are critical. Exposure on corporate governance and accounting is an advantage.Enthusiastic and ambitious self-starter with a strong drive for results.Team-player with excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills.
